Blue Horse Ranch is a small, local, family and volunteer-run 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Kenmore, WA. We are guided by our mission to seek out and rescue high potential candidates and work toward re-establishing a sound equine partner for a long lasting, fulfilling and successful rehoming story. There are so many horses in need and we do our best to make a difference, one horse at a time.
At Blue Horse Ranch, we evaluate a number of deserving equines from several local rescue situations (kill pens, over-crowded rescue facilities, neglect/financial crisis seizures, etc.) and mindfully select our equine candidates to work with extensively for 6-12 months or more.
Once we have a healthy horse, and we feel confident in the training they've received, we provide the necessary time and experiences needed to ensure that each horse is sound and ready for a successful rehoming.
Our Blue Horse Ranch Program also ensures that our little ranch can successfully manage each horse's individual health needs, intensive professional training, as well as providing each horse with a lot of love and patience from each volunteer.
As a non-profit equine rescue organization, we are fully funded by donations from the community and supported and managed by local volunteers. We sincerely thank our community, family members and volunteers that help us make a difference to our Blue Horse Ranch horses and their new partners!
